Background
Software engineer with a BS in Computer Science from UNLV. Between contract work and full-time positions, I've been building web and mobile products professionally, and I built Athlos from the ground up: the iOS app, the backend, the infrastructure, the landing site you're on right now. All of it. One person, full-time, for over a year and counting.
“I knew I could fill those gaps.”
Why I built this
I used to just ask ChatGPT for a workout based on some details I gave it. It was cool for the first one or two, but I quickly realized what was missing. No exercise demos, no logging, no tracking, no trend analysis. And there was no social aspect to keep me engaged or let me encourage others.
I knew I could fill those gaps. Athlos is my solution: a training companion that actually remembers your history, guides you through every rep, tracks your progress, and keeps you connected to the people you train with.
“I'm building Athlos to be the best training platform out there.”
What's next
Athlos is growing fast and I'm just getting started. New features are shipping constantly: deeper analytics, better progression logic, expanded social tools. I'm building Athlos to be the best training platform out there, and I'm not slowing down.
